Birdwatching Itinerary
8:00 - 8:30 | Arrival and Preparation
Take the first few minutes to explore the surrounding area, familiarizing yourself with the terrain and the spots that offer the best views.
8:30 - 9:30 | Observation in Open Areas
The first hour is great for observing birds that are active in the early hours of the day, many of them are searching for food in open areas, especially if there are flowers or fruit trees.
Walk slowly and silently, always looking at the tops of trees and low bushes.
9:30 - 10:00 | Approach to Water Areas
Many birds, such as ducks, herons, swans, and waterfowl, stay near water sources.
Water reflections provide good opportunities to capture images or note interesting behaviors.
Take the opportunity to rest a little and enjoy the landscape.
10:00 - 10:30 | Shade and Forest Birdwatching
As the day warms up, some migratory and resident birds seek shelter under trees or in shaded areas.
Hearing is a great tool for finding more discreet birds that stay in dense areas.
10:30 - 11:00 | Finishing the Route and Flight Observation
It is common to see migratory or native birds flying high, seeking shelter or moving between areas.
12:00 | Closing
At the end of the 4 hours, it is time to do a final survey of the site and reflect on the birds observed.
Write down your final observations and prepare to leave the site silently and respectfully towards nature.
